Where have I been??

It's been a busy few months and I haven't been spending nearly enough time on my blog or making art!  My basement/Studio is completely finished. Since my last post I've taken a couple of wonderful online workshops and then there are all the wonderful books I've just had to buy!!!  I've been to OH to visit family, my daughter has been here for a visit and also to take a Michael DeMeng workshop with me.  My dear friend Sable is now my neighbor and she also went to the Michael DeMeng workshop with us...it was her very first workshop and she loved it.  She's a fantastic potter and painter and now I think she's ready to expand.  Then I took my gr.daughter to Gatlinburg, TN and brought her to my house for a little visit before driving her back to KY.  This past weekend I took two workshops from Jane LaFazio.   I've been to the River Arts District a couple of times recently and purchased a print that I've been wanting for almost a year. I also could not resist buying two water colors from Mary Vogel Lozinak!  NOW..the spring yard work is finished, my little flurry of  travel is over and it's time to get back into my art routine!! I've purchased some wonderful art and made a little art....I've been busy but I've let my creative time slip away from me. I must make time for things I love to do!! Does that happen to ya'll???

I hear you. Saw a lot of art lately but did not have a lot of time to MAKE it. If art is a true word for my dabbling... Wished I could have been on all those workshops with you. The perfect way of learning if you ask me, being around likeminded souls doing what is soul soothing...
