TIME FLIES!

Summer is going too fast.  Today doesn't really feel like a mid summer day, it's only 65 and drizzling.  What a delight to have this break from the heat.  It's rejuvenating!!
Today thoughts have really been turning to ArtFest!  Two more weeks and the list of workshops and teachers will be posted.  I'm so excited!! :D  Twelve of us are planning to rent an Officers Quarter's House, it's going to be a blast!!  Workshops all day and sharing our art and ideas at night over a bottle or two or three or four of wine!!  Can you imagine how much laughter 12 artistic women can create!!  I'm really looking forward to meeting so many women that I know from online classes and Nings.  It  feels  like already know so many of you talented gals.  I'm already having thoughts of starting my day with a cup of coffee, walking on the beach and smelling the cool, salt air..looking for treasures that have washed up over night....ahhhhh. And eating seafood..did I mention that??  Fresh fish!!
My next project will be getting prepared to teach my class at the local college.  I'll be teaching a collage class and I'm really excited.  (and a bit nervous too!)
Well ya'll I just wanted to pop in and say hi so you won't forget me.

i can't wait to read the blog posts and stories all of you bring back from Artfest. It will be the next best thing to being there too :)

Good luck with your teaching. How exciting to have opportunities to bring your love of art to others and make such a big impact on their lives in doing so. It's going to be great!

I love this post Phyl :-) I too am having thoughts of walking along the beach before breakfast....I live so far away from any coastline that it will be such a joy to start our creative days that way. I'm beyond excited to have the opportunity to meet you and Carlanda and all the others at Artfest..it truly is a dream come true. Xo

I found your blog from the art blog hop, but I guess you aren't keeping it anymore. Hope you are still creating art though!
